About Me

Hi! My name is Brittney, and I study elementary school education with the goal of being a teacher who gives every kid the confidence, support, and ability to learn. I currently work in an elementary school, where I have the opportunity to work with students and gain valuable knowledge that will help me become the teacher I want to be. Creating a friendly classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from challenges is something I am most passionate about. As I continue my career as a teacher, I want to encourage my future students to have a good attitude toward mathematics and believe that they are skilled mathematicians.

My Goal

My goal is to build a classroom where each kid feels respected, encouraged, and capable of learning. My goal is to support children to build confidence, perseverance, and a passion for learning that goes beyond the classroom.

My Passion

I have a strong desire to support kids' academic and personal growth. I really enjoy creating interactive learning opportunities that let students ask questions, work together, explore ideas, and make connections between what they are learning and the real world.

My Mathematical Mindset

Every student can learn mathematics, in my opinion, and being great in the subject does not require being the fastest or always getting the answer correct. I want to encourage children to learn from their mistakes, grow from difficulties, voice their ideas, and see that they can improve their mathematics skills.

My hope is to help students see mathematics differently, turning past struggles into future strengths and helping every student recognize their potential as a mathematician.
